About Kay

 A real Floridian,  I was raised in West Palm Beach, went to college in Jacksonville, and have built a home in Boca Raton, Florida. I am a proud mother of one very amazing daughter.   I started in the hospitality industry as a teenager and always knew that this would be my lifelong career.  The list is long of my job skills, and in 2000 I landed a catering director position that shifted the course of my career.  I fell in love with events.  Creating menus for parties was the beginning and it has spiraled into planning the entire event.  Planning in challenging venues and private homes is my specialty.  I love the excitement of transforming these unique venues and private home events into something spectacular. They require special attention to detail to create a flawless event and I create a team of vendors that sees the vision of the client. We create these events having fun and with much love. My team’s attention to detail will leave guests talking about it your party for years to come. 

 In 2020 when the pandemic closed the hospitality industry, I had to reinvent myself.  I became a gardener of culinary herbs, and my love of cooking landed me a private chef job with a great family.  This is how I survived the pandemic.  I reinvented myself to fit into the world around me.  So instead of focusing on one aspect of the events I choose the ones that bring me the most joy.
